Most of the exceptions have been those with unrealistic views of presidential contests -- those who don't want to vote unless they're actually excited about a candidate.
If that's all their comments are expressing, that's ok. Hopefully they don't conflate that with their responsibility as citizens.
Some would hesitate to vote for Biden because he's 80. If another Dem could win the election and be as good a president as Biden, I'd be ok with that. But that is a very real and serious "if." It's a serious "if" with Biden too, but it's probably a bigger "if" with any other Dem.
If Biden wins but can't complete a second term for whatever reason, having his VP succeed him looks more promising than gambling on electing another Dem.
