Good question. I read her article only half way through. At that point, I couldn't bear reading any more. What she had been saying up to then was reprehensible, because it was full of lies. I was responding to her lies.

Even if she ended up making a commendable point, it doesn't fully offset her slander.

After I started writing my comment, I found myself writing in her slanderous, exaggerated style. I normally would have deleted it. I decided manifesting the same bile as her was part of making my point.

Since you didn't pick up on that, my comment did you, and likely others, a disservice by compounding the problem, by fighting fire with fire.
