Humanity, or at least western culture, has trapped us in a contradiction. We believe in truth independent of perception, yet, as the author admits, we have only our perception to go on. This article doesn't show us a way out of this trap.
The way out, as Socrates showed us, is to always make an effort to be *more* objective, as much as we each can, and leave it at that. That's what Socrates meant when he said "the unexamined life is not worth living" and "all I know is that I know nothing."
