Humans, through natural selection, perceive reality in specific ways (e.g, EMR wavelengths as colors, air pressure waves as sounds). We don’t perceive ALL of reality (e.g., we don’t see atoms, we can’t see more than 3 dimensions). So “reality” and “perception” although tightly related are different entities, the way one dollar and a 1-dollar bill are different entities. So quantum mechanical phenomena are simply outside the scope of our thought and imagination. There is no “what is reality?” question. You might as well ask “how can I possibly buy a soda without a 1-dollar bill?” if you’re unaware of the other financial instruments. For us humans, “money” is restricted to “physical currency.”
