Josh, your piece is well written and touches on many good important points. Your message seems to be that truth is unknowable so let’s all take our beliefs with a grain of salt. I completely agree, as do many people. The thing is, nobody seems to know where we go from there, and given what a mess the world is, I think we ought to try to make progress. In other words, is there more about truth we can say that would be useful? Or is life one big “whatever”? In the strictest sense, objective truth is *not* graspable, so if so, does the question “does objective truth really exist?” even have meaning?
