Reading this piece (which was fun) and some of the comments, it seems the author and many people can't see the forest for the trees.
Society hands categories to you -- job, fun, comfort, etc. In those categories are "preconceptions of what should be in there -- usually from previous generations.
People should set aside those preconceptions and put what you want in each category -- whatever creates a life that works for you.
That's what Lucie did. Many people have jobs and side-hustles. She just defined for herself what kind of job works for her and what kinds of side-hustles work for, instead of following other people's preconceptions -- which would have NOT worked for her.
In the U.S., it's called "thinking outside the box." Everyone should do it -- a lot!
Do people have no imagination? Are they afraid to explore? Or to be different?
