Sorry, Steven, I mispoke! The "? in the title" bit was referring to many pieces in Medium and in the press. I should have written it "I'm put off by "?"s in titles" to make it more clearly generic. I saw this after I posted and went "ugh" since being on my phone meant I couldn't edit it.

I enjoyed the meta/ironic questions in your first line, and saw them as both pointing to your topic and starting a dialog (meeting of the soul fragments?) on your topic -- a good move, I thought :)
