America is like those reality tv shows where 10 people compete. The winner has a glorious victory. The others one by one are ejected in shame. We'd all love to win, but you can pay a high price if you don't, and the odds are very much against you.

Perhaps in Europe it it might feel like everyone's a loser, but at least you're not shamed for it the way we are.

It's of course it's all much more complicated than that.

It's funny, I transferred my domain from an American company to one in the Baltic. Now I feel like I can breathe again, free of the abuse.
