This is all perfectly true -- the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and perfectly concise. Having read a wide range of philosophy (although definitely less than many) and especially philosophy about philosophy, the only small quibble is that some analytic philosophy definitely expands perspectives and conversations (where would we be without Wittgenstein?). Although leaning toward the fundamental side, this piece articulates what makes philosophy motivating for me, and it's great to see it so clearly articulated.
