This is an excellent read, thank you! It's great how you frame the big picture, so that all the different things one reads about this subject fit together coherently. Two questions if I may:
(1) You say "Wittgenstein concluded that logic cannot be proven and showed this is the case." At what point in the evolution of his thinking did this occur? Is it presented in the Tractatus or the Philosophical Investigations or elsewhere?
(2) "Hermeneutics" is a term in continental philosophy (which I don't understand). Does hermeneutics relate to "process" as you delineate it in this piece?
