This is my first time hearing about Tau. I'm fine with changing the textbooks, then grandfathering in everyone who got taught Pi. People taught Tau from the start would benefit. But not people who grew up with Pi imho. What I'd love to learn is why Pi is irrational. Is there a geometric reason that it had to be?
