This piece didn't tell me what logic is. Instead, it refers to a spectrum of modes of analysis and in effect says "logic is somewhere on the spectrum." So logic resembles or is related to empiricism, critical thinking skills, verbal analysis, etc. I think of logic as variables, operators, etc. That kind of logic might be embedded in different modes of analysis across the spectrum, but this piece glosses over that. For instance, what result would be yielded by a logical analysis of "The sky is blue"? That it grammatically functions as a predication? As a reader, I feel I have been left floundering. And based on this piece, one can imagine illogical people claiming they are doing logical analysis, which can lead to serious problems. You’ve written some fine pieces; this piece is pretty disappointing.
