This piece highlights a very important and under-studied aspect of human reasoning. The paradox framing is a great way to present it. It facilitates stepping outside of our reasoning to examine its soundness (brings to mind Wittgenstein's fly-bottle).
"Thinking, Fast and Slow" goes into some depth on the various biases we have in predicting and expecting, reporting on extensive psychological research.
A relatively small company I once worked for had a relatively democratic management structure. Most of management had MBAs (not me) and were very intelligent as well (kinda daunting for me). It was interesting how they stumbled into paradoxes collectively despite their otherwise sophisticated analyses.
