Those questions are tough for me too, in part because of the science around them. Rovelli might argue time and space are a sensory experience, not reality. Damasio might argue our brain circuitry is pre-built to "posit" if not create a sense of self automatically in response to sensory experience.
Do you know any philosopher reflecting on this science? I don't. I think somebody should. Dennett and Churchland seem to think they are, but I don't think so.
