Kinda like Ricardo Acuna, I was thinking while reading "this isn't as incisive as Alberto's Why ‘Is LaMDA Sentient?’ Is an Empty Question, which I really liked and was impressed by. I rolled my eyes over "[China using AI] to control the narrative" (such a lame thing to write).

So maybe it's a good thing I thought GPT-3's writing in comparison was jejune and lacking traction (real intellectual force)? That said, there are pieces less coherent on Medium.

I wonder if GPT-3's blah-blah-blah-ing of "facts" is "intentionally" mirroring the vacuousness of so much internet content -- perhaps because people prefer it?
