You need to read the book. Otherwise you are just “sound and fury.” If you read the book, as I have, you will find it less ideological in its views than you. suppose. And you will find it less ideological than your views. Reading all your posts carefully, I see a person swayed in the past by obsolete yet widely held theories who is not open to considering new evidence. You should take into consideration that the theories ingrained into you over the years had a (unconsciously?) close-minded agenda and were biased — that were not as objective as you supposed. No one is telling you that you are wrong in your beliefs per se. They are telling you that you should be open to considering new evidence and new theories, then thinking for yourself (a process you seem to dismiss or discourage). This is no more than what science since Galileo has always asked us to do.
