Your thesis is fascinating and powerful. I suppose religion across cultures through history morphed into power plays (not necessarily all of them, but many of them) and the Roman Catholic Church is one of the, if not *the* most successful, by uniquely (?) using Disneyfication as you describe. Just as an immediate impression, it seems like it would take a book to make your case in full, like Guns Germs and Steel or the Dawn of Everything, which to me is a compliment about your thesis.
